Actual insulation factor may vary considerably from the official rating depending on: 1) the physical state of the user; 2) the metabolism of the user; 3) wind chill factor; and 4) the thermal rating of the sleeping mattress used. BlackWolf® has endeavoured to ensure that the specifications of each model are as accurate as possible at the time of manufacture. Currently, Australia does not have an official Ratings Standard for thermal efficiency.
