SLEEPING BAGS YOU CAN TRUST | ISO TESTED FOR RELIABLE PERFORMANCE!

We’ve taken a stand! All our Sleeping Bags are now ISO tested!

Sleeping bag temperature ratings have generally been a guessing game. So at BlackWolf we decided to take a stand. All of our sleeping bags are independently ISO tested to provide you with a true indication of how they will perform when you are out and about.

Check out our ISO tested rating system…And remember, If It’s not ISO tested, it can’t be trusted!

What do the ratings really mean? Here’s a simple guide we have developed.

  • Comfort rating – The coldest temperature someone who really feels the cold should consider
  • Lower Limit – The coldest temperature a ‘warm sleeper’ should consider
  • Extreme Limit – A survival rating only and the user will feel cold to very cold.

Choose a sleeping bag with a temperature rating lower than the lowest weather temperature you expect to have. If temperatures are higher than expected you can always open up the bag to avoid overheating.

Always look for the ISO 23537-1:2016 rating.
This ensures your sleeping bag has been tested and the marked rating is really how the bag will perform.
